Writing A Story
....
Thinking, thinking...
I keep thinking about how I could write stories that people would like to read. I also would like to write it in the right language, but is it in Norwegian or English? Maybe my first story should be in my mother language, but if it needs to be translated, how would that happen? I still need to figure some stuff out. Like the translation and how to lead the story foreword.
How do you plan a story? Or make one?
I have an idea for what I wanna write about, but I don´t know which direction to take it. Not only that, but I have many stories and many different directions for them, and no idea which one is the best one. Should I write both? Or just choose and hope for the best? If someone knows more about story writing and publishing, please tell me. I wanna start writing stories, but how can I be different from other writers, and my stories different from others stories? To make it or to have a good story, it should be something out of the ordinary, but since a lot of storied are written, how is it gonna be a different story if there´s so many you don´t even know what´s out there.
I think I´m gonna write the story how I wanted it from the beginning, and then see how it goes. If I like it and if others does, maybe I´ll finish it. After having that idea for several years, I still stuck with it, but never done something with it. And I think now is the right time.
Maybe I´ll post a little snippet of the story so all of you can read what I´m rambling about. I want to first and foremost be happy and proud with what I have to give. But I´ll give you a little hint;
"It´s about pandas" ;-)
Now that that´s said, I will officially go to the Microsoft Word program and get this story started. The characters, the plot, the plot twist, anything that is needed to make a good story. And if it´s good enough, it will be published as soon as I can.
No ghost writers. I believe that working hard for something you want is more rewarding than taking a short cut and getting someone to do it for you.
That´s the most important lesson to learn here: "If you want something, work for it. The short cut is not always the right choice"
Have a good week everybody
